Cyberspace Fortress was created with the goal of helping people stay secure when using their computers and to help them keep their computers running as good as they can.
With cyber criminals trying to get access to your computer and the personal and financial information it contains, we strive to keep them out of your business so you don’t fall victim to evil intentions. I (Jeremy Bray, owner of Cyberspace Fortress) have been a victim myself and I can tell you that there is nothing more panic inducing and frustrating than being woken up by your bank calling to inform you somebody has just rung up hundreds of dollars in bogus charges on your credit card.
By keeping the most targeted software on your computers up to date such as the operating systems, browsers, Flash, Java, Adobe Reader and more, we dramatically decrease your odds of being successfully attacked by cyber criminals. The problem most people have is they don’t have the time or simply never think to check and make sure everything is up to date and that they are staying secure not to mention taking advantage of new features and bug fixes that software updates provide. New vulnerabilities are found in software every day that hackers actively exploit and unless you keep up to date on computer security news, you may not know you are vulnerable or what to do about it which is where we can help you. We stay on top of this stuff so you don’t have to!
Of course, while security is a very big part of why we do what we do, another is because we understand how frustrating using a computer can become when they slow down over time and aren’t kept in optimal running condition. By doing things like cleaning unnecessary files off of your computer and making sure the hard drive hasn’t become fragmented, we can help keep your computer running in peak condition. A clean computer is a happy computer! Why replace your computer every couple of years when just some simple maintenance will keep your current machine running great?
Finally, we do everything we do remotely as a convenience to you! You don’t have to worry about taking your computer to somebody to have it checked out and you don’t have to worry about having someone come to your house, interrupting your day just to work on your computer. Of course this means there are some things we can’t do like replace faulty hardware but circumstances like that are quite rare and when they come up, we will gladly help you find somebody that can get you back and running quickly and as cheaply as possible.
